Shipping Policy

This policy outlines shipping costs, processing times, delivery estimates, and customs requirements for all orders placed on pmctechlife.co.za. We ship to addresses within South Africa only.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are included on all orders. No shipping fee is added at checkout. Please note that shipping costs and import duties are separate charges — see the Customs section below for duty obligations by warehouse origin.

Order Processing & Cut-off Times

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and South African public holidays. Our daily cut-off is 2:00 PM South African Standard Time (SAST).

  • Orders confirmed before 2:00 PM on a business day begin processing the same day.
  • Orders confirmed after 2:00 PM, or on weekends and public holidays, begin processing the next business day.
  • Local warehouse handling: 0–1 business day
  • Overseas warehouse handling: 1–3 business days

Warehouse Locations & Delivery Times

We fulfil from three locations depending on the product. The warehouse origin is indicated on each product page before you add to cart. Delivery times are estimates and may vary during peak periods or due to customs processing.

South African Warehouse (Local Stock)

  • Total Estimated Delivery: 2–6 business days
  • Courier: The Courier Guy
  • Tracking: Provided via SMS, email, and WhatsApp once dispatched.
  • Insurance: Included in the purchase price.
  • Import Duties: None — no customs charges apply to locally stocked items.

China Warehouse (Primary Overseas)

  • Total Estimated Delivery: 6–13 business days
  • Courier: Buffalo Logistics
  • Tracking: Provided via SMS, email, and WhatsApp once dispatched.
  • Insurance: Included in the purchase price.
  • Import Duties: See Customs section below — DDP applies for orders under R2,000.

Hong Kong Warehouse (Select Products)

  • Total Estimated Delivery: 6–13 business days
  • Courier: Aramex / DHL
  • Tracking: Provided via SMS, email, and WhatsApp once dispatched.
  • Insurance: Included in the purchase price.
  • Import Duties: Customer responsibility on all orders — see Customs section below.

Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

South African Warehouse

No import duties or taxes apply. These items are already held locally and cleared.

China Warehouse — Orders Under R2,000 (DDP)

We operate on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis for all China warehouse orders up to and including R2,000. We cover all import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees. The price confirmed at checkout is the final amount — no additional charges on delivery.

China Warehouse — Orders Over R2,000

For China warehouse orders exceeding R2,000, import duties and customs clearance fees assessed by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) are the customer's responsibility. Where applicable, we will notify you of the estimated duty exposure before your order is dispatched, giving you the opportunity to confirm or cancel. SARS or the courier may also contact you directly to arrange payment before release of the shipment.

Hong Kong Warehouse — All Orders

All orders fulfilled from our Hong Kong warehouse are subject to import duties and customs clearance fees regardless of order value. These charges are the customer's responsibility. The courier (Aramex or DHL) will contact you directly to arrange payment before delivery. This will be clearly disclosed on the product page before purchase.

Lost, Delayed, or Undeliverable Orders

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us before assuming it is lost — most delays are resolved at customs or courier level within 1–3 additional business days.

  • Lost in transit: If a shipment is confirmed lost by the courier, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
  • Customs delays: Delays at SARS are outside our direct control, but we will liaise with our clearing agent on your behalf.
  • Undeliverable address: If delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, re-delivery costs may apply.
